Our great concern is the collection of natural products, the majority of which comes from our own farm and our own field. The basic principle is to avoid the use of chemical fertilizers and to use only seeds from the Naxian land.
Right beside our tavern in Kastraki of Naxos, we have our own melon field, where we cultivate various vegetables. The basic principle is to avoid the use of chemical fertilizers and to use only seeds from the Naxian land. In Apolafsi you will taste olive oil, wine and tsipouro of our own prouduction and of great taste.
Next to our field we also have a small farm with animals, from which we collect fresh milk every day. This high quality milk is used as raw material in order to make our own dairy products, including the famous Naxian cheese.
The manure from the animals is the natural fertilizer for our field. This is the only thing used for our vegetables production, so we can definitely declare that our products are all organic.
The field and the farm give us the ability to produce healthy products in amounts that cover the restaurant’s needs up to 90%.
